it's been a strange day
I found some photos of you
then the rain started again
I think it's trying to drown me
I want it to drown me

at night...in the deep alley ....
she was catching light fish

sometimes the sulphur ghosts,
come down from the mountains

sometimes you see things that you think
are beautiful, but you can't explain why

It's good to be here in the summer
to go through 3 typhoons
and feel the difference the downpour
makes to your mood

it's like your underwater
and the buildings become vertical rivers
and your brain finds a different geography
to dream in

I went for my first taiwanese foot massage
last night.......and because it was my first time,
they were very gentle with me,
a massage 'lite' for the foreigner : )

but I was sat next a friend who was
gritting her teeth and gasping as the
thumbs and fingers dug into her feet!
